    Mr Jung-Harada is a French-Japanese designer, environmentalist, educator, and entrepreneur, who is passionate about ocean technology, impact innovation, and education. While serving as Associate Professor of Design at the Singapore Institute of Technology where he teaches innovation, design thinking, and social entrepreneurship, and mentors ocean engineering projects, he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Design and Ocean Innovation at CNAM, France. Mr Jung-Harada’s multi-faceted background includes roles as Director of  MakerBay Ltd. (Hong Kong Makerspace), founder of ocean robotic startup Scoutbots Ltd., and Trustee of the board of HBKU (Qatar), the Wyng Foundation (Hong Kong). A regular speaker at international conferences organised by the UN, Harvard and TED, his most popular TED talk garnered over 1.8 million views and was translated into more than 30 languages.
